    Aren't ice storms wonderful? Kansas. Christmas '06. inch and a half of ice on EVERYTHING. Fun. It is beautiful though

    Wow, I almost forget that I live in a large world where stuff like this happens. Those pictures are awesome! I'm glad you are fairly unaffected by the storms. Ice is never a problem here in sunny Arizona! Only bad sunburns!

    Aren't those amazing pictures?! They are just gorgeous, but I know from experience that it is not as fun as it is pretty. Ice that thick to drive on, and sometimes the utilities are hindered by the storms. We were pretty good until the wind picked up and blew a ice ladden branch on an electric wire and knocked out the electricity. We had two years in a row with icy weather like that. Thank goodness winter will be over in 6 weeks.
